Course Description: This course is designed to review the basics subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections.

Target Audience: Licensed Nurses and other healthcare providers who administer injections
Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the parts of equipment used in parenteral medication administration.
- Identify how to accurately read calibrations on a syringe.
- Identify sites and techniques for subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intradermal injections.
- List the steps and precautions for administering parenteral medications.
- Identify and discuss the correct techniques to administer insulin and anticoagulants.
Length of Course: 30 minutes
