Course Description:  Research has shown most of us encounter unreasonable people in our lives. We may have to interact with a difficult individual at work or at home. It’s easy to let a challenging person affect us and ruin our day. Some key concepts to empowering yourself in such situations are identifying and understanding resistance, reasons for resistance,and identify strategies to address the resistance in context. This course will assist healthcare workers in identifying effective strategies to deal with difficult persons.

Target Audience:  Social Workers, Nurses. Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Psychology Counselors, Dietitians, Medical Assistants, and AHEC.
