Course Description: A myriad of complex care issues challenge the quality of care provided to an aging population by social workers, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. This program will better prepare healthcare professionals identify and overcome barriers for the older adult population. A discussion of the assessment and available resources for coordinating care to an aging population with cognitive impairment are presented in detail.
