Course Description: This course reviews how to properly manage feeding tubes and pumps in children in the school setting.

Target Audience: Licensed nurses, and any other interested healthcare professional
Learning Outcomes: After completing this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Review considerations for tube feedings in the school setting
- Discuss plans for care in the school setting
- Identify elements of a health plan toolkit in the school setting
- Identify components of the 504/IEP plans that directly relate to tube feedings in the school setting
- Identify educational needs of school personnel related to feeding tubes in the school environment
- Discuss clinical indications for enteral nutrition
- Compare and contrast the different types of feeding tubes
- Evaluate and troubleshoot common problems with feedings
- Evaluate and troubleshoot common problems with feeding pumps
Length of Course: 100 minutes + 4 hours of lab competency.
