Course Description: This program reviews common oncologic emergencies including septic shock, superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS), pulmonary embolism (PE), cardiac tamponade, hyperviscosity syndrome, disseminated intravascular syndrome (DIC), acute hemorrhage, tumor lysis syndrome (TLS), hypercalcemia, pleural effusion, ascites, syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH), spinal cord compression, and increased intracranial pressure.

- Identify oncologic emergencies and assessments for early diagnosis and treatment in oncology patients
