Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by The South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Social Workers: Programs are approved by Upstate AHEC, as part of the SC AHEC system, under its accreditation by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners. Both Social Work and Non-Social Work hours are offered.
Occupational Therapists: Programs are approved for continuing education for Occupational Therapists. SC AHEC has presumptive approval as a provider of continuing education for Occupational Therapists by the SC Board of Examiners for Occupational Therapy.
Physical Therapists: Programs are approved for continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.
Respiratory Care Practitioners: Programs are approved by Upstate AHEC, an approved provider of continuing education for respiratory care practitioners by the SC Board of Medical Examiners.
Counselors and Therapists: Programs are approved for continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.
AHEC Credit: Programs are approved by Upstate AHEC and meet SC AHEC Best Practice Standards for those disciplines not mentioned above.
